Loyd
Williams is a core presenter for BBC WM. His show airs every
Saturday night from 10pm when you can catch Loyd chatting to
the cream of the West Midlands creative talent, whether it's
about their life, work, where they'd normally be on a Saturday
night or whatever else gets thrown into the mix... it usually
does.
Loyd plays a higher than normal dose of music for WM - a delicious
mix of dance anthems and disco classics. Keeping a close eye
on what’s hot and what most definitely is not are the show's
roving reporters who you'll find out and about, checking out
the latest performances, gigs and exhibitions as they happen.
In 2008, Loyd hosted Birmingham’s leg of the Sing
The Nation event for
the BBC on a stage at The Birmingham BBC Big Screen which was part of the official
celebrations to mark the passing of the Olympic Torch to the UK. |
